1. Information We Collect
We collect information you provide (name, email address, phone or WhatsApp number, payment details) and information generated by your use of the Platform (progress data, completed sessions, XP, login timestamps). If you start a checkout, or fill in the chat form on our website before messaging us on WhatsApp, we keep the name, email, phone number and the programs you asked about, even if you do not buy, so we can follow up with you. If you speak to us on WhatsApp or by phone, our team may keep short notes of those conversations. Messages you post in the student community rooms are stored so other members can read them. If you sign up for our free starter series without creating an account, we store only your email address, the page you signed up on, and when you confirmed and unsubscribed. Addresses that are never confirmed are deleted after 30 days.
2. How We Use Your Information
We use your information to provide and improve the Platform, process payments, send account notifications, and inform admins of new registrations. If you left your details with us and did not complete a purchase, we may contact you about the program you asked about by WhatsApp, phone or email, and, for an abandoned checkout, send up to two reminder emails. We also use anonymous visit counts to understand which pages are read and where visitors come from. Starter-series emails are sent only after you confirm your address, and every one contains an unsubscribe link. We do not sell your personal data to third parties.
3. Data Storage
Your data is stored securely using Supabase, which uses industry-standard encryption. Payment processing is handled by Paystack — we do not store card details.
4. Cookies & Visit Analytics
We use essential cookies for authentication (keeping you logged in). We also use Google Analytics and the Meta (Facebook) Pixel to measure visits and the performance of our advertising; these may set cookies and share page-visit data with Google and Meta. You can block them with your browser settings or an ad blocker. We also run our own simple visit counter on our public pages. For each page view it records the page, your device type and, for the first page of a visit, the site you came from. It uses a random identifier kept in your browser storage (not a cookie); we store only a scrambled (hashed) version of it, plus a scrambled version of your IP address that is used only to block abuse. It does not record your name, email address or account details, and the records are deleted after about two years. On our course sales pages (AI Agent Mastery and Vibe Coding) the same counter also records how far down the page you scroll, which sections and buttons you look at or click, how fast the page loaded, and which steps of the checkout form you completed or which check stopped you; it never records what you type into the form. Clearing your browser data resets the identifier. We do not sell your personal data.
5. Your Rights
You may ask to see, correct or delete the personal data we hold about you at any time. You can delete your account yourself from Dashboard > Account, or email support@socialdevtechnologies.com or message us on WhatsApp, and we will process requests within 30 days. Deleting your account removes your profile, progress, community messages and any lead or checkout details linked to your email; payment records are kept without a link to your account because we need them for our accounts. You can unsubscribe from the free starter series with the link in each of its emails, and ask us to stop any other emails or messages at any time. You also have the right to complain to the Nigeria Data Protection Commission if you believe your data has been mishandled.
6. Third-Party Services
The Platform uses Supabase (authentication & database), Vercel (website hosting), Paystack (payment processing), Resend (email), Zoom (live classes) and WhatsApp (messaging you start with us). Messages you post in the community rooms may be sent to an AI model from Google so our assistant can welcome new members and flag requests for help. Each of these services has its own privacy policy.
